Who doesn’t love blush, neutrals and lots of bling? This color palette has been popular for quite a while but Desiree and Mario’s wedding included so many special touches and combinations of glam and sweet rustic touches, it was fresh, romantic and fun!
From the beautifully decorated cake placed on top of a hanging pallet to the white wash farm tables and gold sequin runners and table numbers, everywhere you looked there were comfortable southern furnishings accented with glitz & glam. Floral arrangements of white hydrangeas and pale pink roses were filled in containers of mercury glass & perched atop silver candelabras. Gold chivari chairs were tied with blush satin bows and round tables were covered with ivory rosette overlays and champagne petal linens.
Two Fat Men delivered a flavorful fare with appetizers of BBQ Egg rolls, Meat Balls and Collard Green Artichoke Dip with Homemade Tortilla Chips. A plated dinner included a Caesar salad, Grilled Chicken Breast with Chili Plum Sauce, Beef Short Ribs with Demi Glaze, Herb Roasted New Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts -Thinly Sliced with White Alabama BBQ Sauce.
For dessert, the fabulous snicker-doodle flavored wedding cake from Jo’s Cakes & Catering and homemade cobblers in mason jars from Two Fat Men.
